I’m Joanna, a craft hairdresser and founder of HairDom by Jo, proudly serving The Woodlands and North Houston. Born in Poland and living in the U.S. since 2014, this studio is a meaningful step in my American dream—built to make you feel at home, confident, and completely yourself.
 
“Dom” means “home” in Polish, and I chose the name to reflect comfort, authenticity, and my roots.
 
I began my career at Aveda Institute Houston and have spent the last 9 years passionately evolving my craft. I specialize in precision and modern razor cutting, combining techniques to create custom shapes that reflect your lifestyle and personality. Continued education is at the heart of my practice, with training from Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Arrojo Academy NYC, and L’Oréal Professionnel.
 
After noticing an increase in scalp health concerns post-pandemic, I introduced scalp facials to help clients address root issues and improve hair growth.
 
Outside the studio, I’m committed to personal growth—whether through podcasts, books, or my garage gym. I believe small, consistent habits create lasting transformation, in life and in hair.
